PROTOCOL, a new production by A Two Dogs Company in collaboration with ICTUS Ensemble, makes its première at Meakusma Festival in Eupen, on Saturday the 5th of September 2026 at 8 PM. 

Four dancers. Three musicians. One ritual.

Unfolding among the audience as a slow-burning crescendo, from silence and stillness to pounding drums and electronic intensity, PROTOCOL explores how modern society creates and relates to new “gods”, such as AI, authoritarian leaders, climate change, and the Ego. It reflects on a crisis of meaning in which belief, rather than objective truth, shapes reality.

Can't make it to the premiere? PROTOCOL will be performing on the 28th and 29th of November at the opening weekend of Kanal - Centre Pompidou in Brussels. Hang tight for the exact times.

The annual exhibition EXTRACTIONS returns this September. Join us at the ATDC Atelier in Molenbeek for three exhibition weekends featuring exceptional artworks, immersive installations, and unique performances. 

As a first glimpse of this year's programme, we're delighted to reveal the first selected artists.

This edition of EXTRACTIONS will present several remarkable works by Kris Verdonck, including MASS#2, alongside the resonant installation DETAIL and the brand-new creation Bullroarer.

The programme also brings together an outstanding group of international artists, including Yoran Cazac, Yuzuru Shoji, Lucy Glendinning, Edith Dekyndt, Tim Theo Deceuninck and performances by Tamara Gvozdenovic and Michael Schmid.

Welcome to Our New Residents: Amos & Yoel Peled

We're thrilled to welcome Amos and Yoel Peled as our newest STAGES#3 resident artists at A Two Dogs Company, in collaboration with iMAL.

Born in 1997, Amos and Yoel are Antwerp and The Hague-based multidisciplinary artists whose work spans performance, installation, experimental music, and digital art. Building environments where machines, objects, and digital processes become performers in their own right.

During their residency, they'll be developing The Teacher [working title], a haunting installation and performance that reimagines technology as something transmitted by non-human entities. On a mechanized, digitally controlled stage, synthetic voices and machine-like figures guide shifting geometric forms, asking urgent questions about knowledge, perception, and what remains of the human in an increasingly post-human world.

We can't wait to see where this residency takes them, and us.

Aigü was developed by Winju during the STAGES#2 residency at A Two Dogs Company & iMAL.

Irony and sarcasm as antidote to the human condition. 

Winju's practice investigates the performative and sculptural potential of systems under contradiction. Apparent logic applied only to be displaced. Machines deliver just enough chaos to keep the illusion alive. 

Each piece becomes a distorting mirror of our fears and desires, exposing what should heal but ends up constraining, what promises progress but generates alienation. Absurd and brutal, their machines operate while malfunctioning, like an organism under tension.

Aigü is where that contradiction comes to a head: a dive into the paradoxes of care and control, where order cracks open to reveal its own absurdity.

We're glad to welcome Haolin Huang (°1997, they/them) as our newest technical resident at A Two Dogs Company.

A multidisciplinary Chinese artist based in Brussels, Haolin works across photography, video, performance, theatre, sculpture, and digital media. Their practice moves through memory, identity, and hope, opening up space at the threshold between private narrative and collective emotion. 

Where myth meets reality, where angels fall and demons rise.

Through metaphorical objects, fictional environments, and performative staging, they construct hybrid temporalities in which one drifts between yesterday and today. Figures emerge at the edge of vulnerability and reclaimed strength, becoming protagonists of their own evolution.

Our ATDC resident (RES#6) is back for one more showcase, don’t miss this chance to witness the evolution of a groundbreaking performative practice. 

Join us on the 26th of June 2026 for Fyllenia Grigoriou's (a.k.a. Trente Bisous) open studio event  'One moves, The other doesn’t' at the ATDC Studio in Molenbeek. Experience the latest choreographic project, a dynamic synthesis of movement, text, and live electronics, where repetition and real-time recording blur the lines between memory and the present.

This performance is a unique exploration of embodied art, inspired by the ongoing research Stenochōreography: writing dance in tight spaces. Together with music artist Anton Lambert, Grigoriou transforms choreography into a hauntological ritual, using elements like ice, fire, smoke, and sound.

What happens when an installation doesn't just host artists, but actively shapes them? 

NOON is a collective research project unfolding across multiple residencies, built from foam, water, polypropylene, bodies, and open questions. Part living environment, part collective experiment.

Rooted in Elizabeth Povinelli's Geontologies, investigating three figures: the Desert, the Animist, and the Virus. The project probes the boundaries between life and non-life, asking what it means to create together when the space itself,  a desert-like foam environment, is a collaborator. This first residency at A Two Dogs Company took the Virus as its guiding figure.

Met veel enthousiasme verwelkomen we onze nieuwe STAGES#3 residenten Amos en Yoel Peled bij A Two Dogs Company, in samenwerking met iMAL.

Amos en Yoel, geboren in 1997, zijn multidisciplinaire kunstenaars gevestigd in Antwerpen en Den Haag. Hun werk begeeft zich tussen performance, installatie, experimentele muziek en digitale kunst. Ze creëren omgevingen waarin machines, objecten en digitale processen performers op zich worden.

Tijdens hun residentie ontwikkelen ze The Teacher [werktitel], een intrigerende installatie en performance die technologie herdenkt als iets dat wordt overgedragen door niet-menselijke entiteiten. Op een gemechaniseerd, digitaal gestuurd podium begeleiden synthetische stemmen en machineachtige figuren verschuivende geometrische vormen, terwijl ze urgente vragen stellen over kennis, perceptie en wat er van het menselijke overblijft in een steeds meer posthumane wereld.

We kijken ernaar uit om te zien waar deze residentie hen , en ons, naartoe brengt.

Ironie en sarcasme als antidotum tegen de menselijke conditie. 

Winju’s praktijk onderzoekt het performatieve en sculpturale potentieel van systemen die gekenmerkt worden door contradictie. Schijnbare logica wordt toegepast om vervolgens compleet onderuitgehaald te worden. Machines produceren net genoeg chaos om de illusie in stand te houden. 

Elk werk wordt een vervormende spiegel van onze angsten en verlangens, en legt bloot wat zou moeten helen maar uiteindelijk beperkt, wat vooruitgang belooft maar vervreemding creëert. Absurd en brutaal functioneren hun machines terwijl ze tegelijk falen, als een organisme onder spanning.

Aigü is het punt waarop die contradictie tot een hoogtepunt komt: een duik in de paradoxen van zorg en controle, waar orde openbarst en haar eigen absurditeit onthult.

Met veel plezier verwelkomen we Haolin Huang (°1997, die/hun) als onze nieuwste technische resident bij A Two Dogs Company.

Haolin is een multidisciplinaire Chinese kunstenaar gevestigd in Brussel, werkzaam binnen fotografie, video, performance, theater, sculptuur en digitale media. Hun praktijk verbindt zich door herinnering, identiteit en hoop, en opent een ruimte op de grens tussen persoonlijk narratief en collectieve emotie. 

Waar mythe en werkelijkheid elkaar ontmoeten, waar engelen vallen en demonen opstaan.

Via metaforische objecten, fictieve omgevingen en performatieve ensceneringen construeren ze hybride temporaliteiten waarin men tussen gisteren en vandaag lijkt te drijven. Figuren verschijnen op het snijvlak tussen kwetsbaarheid en herwonnen kracht, en worden protagonisten van hun eigen evolutie.

Onze ATDC-resident (RES#6) keert terug voor één laatste toonmoment, mis deze kans niet om de evolutie van een baanbrekende performatieve praktijk mee te maken!

Kom op 26 juni 2026 zeker langs voor het open studio-evenement ‘One moves, The other doesn’t’ van Fyllenia Grigoriou (aka Trente Bisous) in het ATDC Studio in Molenbeek. Ervaar haar nieuwste choreografisch project: een dynamische synthese van beweging, tekst en live elektronica, waarbij herhaling en realtime opname de grenzen tussen herinnering en het heden doen vervagen.

Deze voorstelling is een unieke verkenning van belichaamde kunst, geïnspireerd door het lopende onderzoek Stenochōreography: writing dance in tight spaces. Samen met muziekartiest Anton Lambert transformeert Grigoriou choreografie in een hauntologische ritueel, met elementen als ijs, vuur, rook en geluid.

Wat gebeurt er wanneer een installatie niet alleen kunstenaars huisvest, maar hen ook actief vormgeeft?

NOON is een collectief onderzoeksproject dat zich ontvouwt over meerdere residenties, opgebouwd uit schuim, water, polypropyleen, lichamen en open vragen. Deels leefomgeving, deels collectief experiment.

Geworteld in Elizabeth Povinelli’s Geontologies onderzoekt het project drie figuren: de Woestijn, de Animist en het Virus. Het bevraagt de grenzen tussen leven en niet-leven, en stelt de vraag wat het betekent om samen te creëren wanneer de ruimte zelf, een woestijnachtige schuimomgeving, een medespeler wordt. Deze eerste residentie bij A Two Dogs Company nam het Virus als leidende figuur.

PROTOCOL explore la façon dont la société moderne engendre de nouveaux « dieux » et les liens qu’elle entretient avec eux·elles. Parmi ces nouvelles « divinités », on retrouve l’IA, les dirigeant·es autoritaires, le changement climatique et l’Égo. Le spectacle propose une réflexion sur une crise du sens où la croyance, plutôt que la vérité objective, forge la réalité.

Nous sommes très heureux·euses d’accueillir  nos nouveaux·elles résident·es STAGES#3, Amos et Yoel Peled, chez A Two Dogs Company, en collaboration avec iMAL.

Nés en 1997, Amos et Yoel sont des artistes multidisciplinaires basés à Anvers et à La Haye. Leur travail se situe à la croisée de la performance, de l’installation, de la musique expérimentale et de l’art numérique. Ils créent des environnements au sein desquels les machines, les objets et les processus numériques deviennent eux-mêmes des performers.

Au cours de leur résidence, ils développeront The Teacher [titre provisoire], une installation et une performance intrigantes qui repensent la technologie comme un phénomène transmis par des entités non humaines. Sur une scène mécanisée et pilotée numériquement, des voix synthétiques et des figures mécaniques accompagnent des formes géométriques en mouvement, tout en posant des questions brûlantes sur la connaissance, la perception et ce qui demeure de l’humain·e dans un monde de plus en plus posthumain.

Nous avons hâte de voir où cette résidence les mènera, et où elle nous entraînera à notre tour.

L'ironie et le sarcasme mobilisés comme antidotes à la condition humaine. 

La pratique de Winju explore le potentiel performatif et sculptural de systèmes caractérisés par la contradiction. Une logique apparente est mise en place pour être ensuite complètement renversée. Les machines produisent juste suffisament de chaos pour maintenir l’illusion. 

Chaque œuvre devient un miroir déformant de nos peurs et de nos désirs, et met à nu ce qui devrait guérir, mais qui, en fin de compte, limite, ce qui promet le progrès, mais crée l’aliénation. Leurs machines fonctionnent de manière absurde et brutale tout en échouant, comme un organisme sous tension.

Aigü est le point où cette contradiction atteint son paroxysme : une plongée dans les paradoxes des soins et du contrôle, où l’ordre se fissure et révèle sa propre absurdité.

Nous avons le plaisir d’accueillir Haolin Huang (°1997, iel) en tant que nouveau·elle résident·e  technique chez A Two Dogs Company.

Haolin est un·e artiste chinois·e multidisciplinaire basé·e à Bruxelles, travaillant dans les domaines de la photographie, de la vidéo, de la performance, du théâtre, de la sculpture et des médias numériques. Sa pratique s’articule autour de la mémoire, de l’identité et de l’espoir, et ouvre un espace à la frontière du  récit personnel et l’émotion collective. 

Là où le mythe et la réalité se rencontrent, là où les anges tombent et les démons se redressent. 

À travers des objets métaphoriques, des environnements fictionnels et des mises en scène performatives, iel  construit des temporalités hybrides dans lesquelles on semble flotter entre hier et aujourd’hui . Des figures apparaissent à la croisée de la vulnérabilité et de la force retrouvée, et deviennent les protagonistes de leur propre évolution.

Découvrez son dernier projet chorégraphique : une synthèse dynamique de mouvement, de texte et d’électronique live, où la répétition et l’enregistrement en temps réel brouillent les frontières entre mémoire et présent.

Cette performance est une exploration unique de l’art incarné, inspirée par la recherche en cours Stenochōreography: writing dance in tight spaces. Aux côtés de l’artiste musical Anton Lambert, Grigoriou transforme la chorégraphie en un rituel hantologique, utilisant des éléments comme la glace, le feu, la fumée et le son.

Que se passe-t-il lorsqu’une installation n’accueille pas seulement des artistes, mais les façonne aussi activement ?

NOON est un projet de recherche collectif construit à partir de mousse, d’eau, de polypropylène, de corps et de questions ouvertes. Le projet se déploie sur plusieurs résidences, et est à la fois habitat et expérience collective.

Ancré dans les Géontologies d’Elizabeth Povinelli, il explore trois figures : le Désert, l’Animiste et le Virus. Il interroge les frontières entre la vie et la non-vie, et interroge la signification de la création collective lorsque l’espace lui-même, un environnement de mousse évoquant un désert, devient un acteur à part entière. Cette première résidence chez A Two Dogs Company a choisi le Virus comme figure centrale.
